Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
Are you expected to help people in crisis or struggling to cope with life’s challenges?
Build confidence in working with those feeling hopeless and thinking of suicide tohelp them find the part of them that wants to live and work on staying safe. ASIST is an evidence-based 2-day intensive, interactive workshop focused on de-escalating a suicidal situation and building a safety plan.
This is an ideal training for faith leaders, emergency responders, mental health providers, school counselors, medical professionals, chaplains, corrections staff, teachers, coaches, veteran support staff, social workers, and community volunteers.
Attendance both days is required.
Cost: $200 plus Eventbrite fee; CEUs available (lunch is provided)
